GSACRD WebQuests

"WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the Web. WebQuests are designed to use learners' time well, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to support learners' thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation. The model was developed in early 1995 at San Diego State University by Bernie Dodge with Tom March, and was outlined then in Some Thoughts About WebQuests."

THIS TEMPLATE CAN BE COPIED AND USED  IN YOUR FIRSTCLASS HOME PAGE FOLDER FOR PROJECTS WITH YOUR STUDENTS. YOU CAN ALSO USE IT TO DO COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS WITH OTHER TEACHERS IN THE DIVISION. (contact Bob Denis for assistance)

Instructions

1.  Open your HOME PAGE folder. Create a new folder. (eg. named "WebQuest").
2.  Hold down the open key and drag the files from this folder to your new folder.
3.  Create your webquest.  Edit your new files adding your own content as described in each file.
4.  Access your webquest using the appropriate URL. (eg. http://fc.gsacrd.ab.ca/~dean_mckinney/webquest)
